Web-Security is the name of the game.

All communications of Trackwap, via the Internet or mobile Internet, are protected by the latest encryption technology. Data is thus managed and transmitted in total confidentiality.

Trackwap is a web-based program, allowing users to have a full access to all the features, via the Internet. Users are logistics services providers, such as trucking firms, warehouse operators, as well as the operators, such as the drivers, warehouse operators, etc.

To begin with, clients, such as shippers, can instruct their operators via Trackwap, in order to perform a logistics service, such as a transport operation by truck. As soon as the order is accepted by the trucking company, the appropriate driver is instantly instructed. Shippers have also the possibility to utilize their existing management tools, without having to re-enter data into Trackwap.

Trackwap has a large number of standard instructions, which are merely “clicked on” by the users, be it by the back-office operators, or the drivers. Utilization is therefore extremely user friendly and fast.

On the other way round, the drivers can instantly show stati of the shipments, at package level, such as for example, shipment on it’s way, in transit in a warehouse, “stuck in a traffic jam”, etc. These stati are shown in real time on the Trackwap screen of the trucker, but also if desired, by the clients, themselves.

Trackwap is a unique combination of the latest technology available, for the on-line linking of shippers (clients), transport providers and drivers.

By using GPRS, or mobile internet, all parties can be 24/24 365/365 on line, for an affordable communication cost. Trackwap can be used by the driver on a simple GSM (Premium Service), or on a touch-screen PDA.

Furthermore, Trackwap is completely web-based : wherever in the world, at the office desk, in a hotel room, , all the logistics activities can be easily monitored, both by the transport provider, as well as his clients.

GPS, or satellite tracking enables the user to track all his connected vehicles on a worldwide, street-level map.

A bar-code scanner, linked to the mobile internet activated PDA, enables the user to check accurately, all the shipments, on a package level.

A man-down device, is a security guarantee for the personnel which is on the road. Aggression can be spotted in real time and help can be despatched immediately to the right location.

Cash on delivery (COD) is another feature of Trackwap, whereby the recipient of the shipment, can settle his dues, without any cash disbursement. The creditor receives the full amount, in real time, on his bank-account.

Signature on delivery, allows Trackwap users, to actually see appear on the web-screen, the signature of the recipient of the shipments.In case of a claim, Trackwap shows a picture of the goods, in the state in which they are delivered, to the recipient of the shipment.
