DFDS Transport AS is a leading international transport company, managing more then 6000 trucks in Europe. Trackwap has been implemented in order to follow-up their fleet by transferring automatically GPS coordinates of each truck, in real time, to a detailed digital map. Moreover, transport instructions can be modified at any time and are automatically displayed on the driver’s on-board interactive monitor, thanks to a permanent open GPRS communication link. The drivers have a real-time view on their latest pick-up and delivery instructions in their own language and can revert about shipment status details, either via a keyboard or by real-time barcode scanning. Real-time image capturing and data transfer (GPRS) of proof-of-delivery documents, as well as multimedia navigation aid will be introduced shortly.

The Royal Flemish Federation of Transport Firms (SAV). : this 1400 members strong association has made the choice to use Trackwap for their integrated, mobile internet based management.
