Security of personnel, equipment and goods

Transport companies can as Trackwap users, take advantage of a feature, such as satellite tracking , to pinpoint at any time the location of their various trucks, so, also the driver and goods.

To ensure the security of the drivers, Trackwap has developed an add-on module – Trackwap Security-, whereby truck personnel can instantly alert the base, in case of a problem.

Use of a panic-button, will instantly alert the monitoring department of the transport firm, that the driver needs urgent assistance. Since a Trackwap-connected device is constantly on-line, the alert is dispatched immediately, whereby the exact location (city, street name and street number) are shown on the back-office computer screen.

A rescue team can be immediately dispatched, to the exact location.

Some alerts however, cannot be signalled by the driver : surprise attacks, severe health problems and such. The man-down device attached to the Trackwap-operated PDA, will alert the monitoring base, in case that the driver is lying in a horizontal position, for a certain specified period of time.

In this case, Trackwap will send precise coordinates, as well as an accurate alert message to the monitoring department of the driver, showing accurately a city name, a street name and a street number where the driver has had the accident.

A rescue team can be sent immediately to the reported location.
